How to Jail Break Your iPhone/iPod iOS 4.1

Well what is jailbreaking? Jailbreaking is a process that allows iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad to gain access to the root files or gain full access of your device.. 


So what are the pros and cons of jailbreaking your device?


Jailbreaking allows you to download games, musics, videos, pictures, applications and themes for FREE!! yeah! for FREE! well dont push your luck yet.. there are also consequences if you mess up from jailbreaking your iPhone... If you, unfortunately mess up from jailbreaking your phone, your computer or iTunes may not be able to read it or worst it wont turn on... sad to say :'( Oh! one more thing! apple will void the warranty if they found out that the device got broken because you try to jailbreak it... That sucks yeah i know!


So how do we jailbreak our iPod/iPhone/iPad?
First we have to download GreenPoison http://greenpois0n.com/ and install it in our computer


Run the application

Click Prepare to JailBreak DFU 

Press and hold the sleep button for 3 seconds or so

Continue holding the sleep button but this time, press and hold the the Home button for 10 seconds.


After 10 seconds,  release holding the sleep button but keep pressing the home button for 15 seconds..


If you made it successfully, your phone will restart and tons of text will appear in the black screen don't panic! Wait for atleast 10 minutes.. don't get bored or scared if the loading is not moving [it looks like it hanged but its not] most importantly DONT RESTART THE DEVICE in this process or you will screw the jailbreaking. 

Your phone will restart again but this time the apple logo now will come. Your jailbreaking is successful! you may now be able to see Cydia  in your menu list. If you dont see Cydia, you mess up with jailbreaking.
How to download free Games, Apps, Musics, Photos, Video

• Open Cydia

• Select Manage in the menu list below

• Click Sources 
• Click Edit
• Click Add
• In the input box, type http://cydia.hackulo.us/
• Click Install
• This will now install the Installous which you will be using in downloading games and etc.
